In this presentation,Dr Cormac O Raifferataigh, WIT will illustrate the work of Waterford Physicist and Irelands only Nobel prize winner in Science, Ernest Walton. The presentation will discuss his work in laymans terms and his contributions to the Recreation of the Big Bang: the world's biggest scientific experiment” which took place last September.
